Hey bro., What's up? I pray that this letter finds you in the best of health and doing well.
How is everything? What about this weather?? Sub zero temps. right now, the wind is whipping around.
My Philadelphia Eagles got knocked out of the playoffs by the Carolina Panthers. They played terrible.
Well, what I feared and expected came true, I was arrested ( on Christmas Eve, believe it or not ). I kinda knew that my past could catch up to me. I did alot of bad things while involved in Satanism, all of which I deeply regret . my court date is Feb. 6th at 10 am. As it looks now, I can get at least 28 months ( 2 years 4 months ) in State Prison.
Thank You so much for your words of incouragement. I really appreciate it. I do consider you a close friend and brother, I always will . Thanks for not judging me .
I also want to Thank You and your Stryper brethen for your prayers. I f any of your Stryper buddies would like to write to me, I don't mind you giving out my address.
I have a big favor to ask of you. I don't have any reading material and was wondering if you could find two mags for me and send them to me? ( Metal Maniacs and Metal Edge ) I love those 'zines!! If you can't, I understand. Just asking, it get very boring in here. I'm locked down 23 hours a day, I normally don't ask for things, but I'm losing my mind in here.
Bro., I will end here for now. I look forward to hearing from you.
Take care and God Bless!!
I Thank God that we met. There is a reason for everything.
I will write again.
That's the 2nd hand written letter I received from Jon. The 1st came a week before Christmas. I hand wrote a reply and will continue to remain in contact with Jon through his incarceration. Jon has travel a long and spiraling path from his previous faith to where it lays now in Christ Jesus.
He is now reaping the consequences for his previous actions.
Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow! Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires will harvest the consequences of decay and death. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
Jon is also being responsible, something he was not before he knew about Christ jesus.
Be sure to do what you should, for then you will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done your work well, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
If you would like to write Jon. here's his mailing address, when and if it changes. I will post the new address.
